Snap

Deal out the cards and the first to notice a pair says ‘Snap’. Add in an environmental theme. The theme might be how children’s toys or activities have changed over time.  Find some old cardboard packages and cut them up in to card shape pieces, and draw pictures depicting toys and games on one side of the cards. There needs to be two of each card.  Stick on pictures of objects as a wooden truck, a Nintendo DS, a long piece of elastic (used for acrobatics in the playground game, Elastics), a Hot Rod car & a black and white Television.

Players can reflect back on the biodegradability of the games or toys are, and what they do with the game materials or toys when they are finished with them. For the more advanced, they can look in to a life cycle analysis of young people's devices and toys.
