Find an environmental theme and build a game around it. Often just suggesting sustainability is more effective than making it the main purpose or goal. For example, rather than giving a game a title of How to Build an Efficient Home ABC, it might be called The Three Little Pigs Teach Us How to Make A Home to stand up in a Storm.

Remember sub-conscious drivers are more effective than being lecturesome, and setting rigid rules.

Building in a sense of competition increases the fun and excitement quotient as youngsters love to compete and prove their prowess.
